This took place on Sunday 18th September at Bisley.

The course of fire was 2 convertible sighters and 10 to score. The morning session was at 300 yards, the afternoon at 500 yards.

The morning was overcast with a cold, slightly gusty wind. The afternoon was pleasantly sunny with a moderate, but variable wind.

We were meant to have 10 competitors, for various reasons three were unable to attend. 11 cards were shot. I had already reduced to 2 targets before the event, this still proved excessive. The problem being you don’t know that before the day.

I think all in all it was a pleasant days shooting. I have been using a new contact for markers. They were very good.
