The HBSA McQueen competition was shot today Sunday 28 July. The weather was near perfect with sunshine and no wind early on, and just light wind later on.
We had 12 competitors, one of whom was unable to attend due to illness.
The young marker was very good and kept going from 8.30 to 12.30, pretty much without a break.
We were unable to complete the course of fire, 2 shooters being unable to finish their 3 cards due to time constraints. This could have been improved by having two markers, one to run the zero target and one the McQueen castle. Alternatively we could reduce to 10 competitors or use the people waiting to shoot to run the zero target.
My thanks to those who took part and hope a good day was had by all.
