In 1976 Dr Christopher Roads, our President, then Deputy Director of the Imperial War Museum conceived and wrote a series of short films demonstrating the history of firearms. This was called the “The Gun” and produced in conjunction with “BBC Chronicle”, and shown on BBC TV. Up to now it has not been available however it has now been put on YouTube and by clicking on these links members can see all eight episodes.
