Seventeen shooters took part in the HBSA Miniature Rifle Shoot at Bisley’s Cheylesmore Range on August 23rd, a day of torrential rain.
Fortunately the covered firing point protected our antique rifles and only the targets and those changing them got drenched. It was actually necessary to mop the targets and repair some of the felt pen that had washed off.
As usual many of the scores achieved were impressive, old age doesn’t seem to affect rifle accuracy though I swear my foresight shrinks. A good day was had by all.
