HBSA Midland Rook & Rabbit Rifle Competition

Dear Competitors

Thank you all for competing in this our 4 th Spring Midland Rook and Rabbit competition.

Again proving to be a very popular meeting, with 13 individual participants and most gratifying we had 1 new entrant.

As always, I would very much like to thank the Committee and Members of Stourport on Severn Rifle club for allowing us the use of their range.

The Spring weather became more of a challenge as the day progressed, being very warm and with an ever increasing wind. At times it sounded like volley fire as all competitors fired as the wind dropped off.

We attracted 13 entrants, who shot a total of 43 matches.

I must congratulate and commend all those who attended, everything ran extremely smoothly.

As usual we had a lot of Cross Shooting and additional shots at this meeting, its easy done but if you do Cross please mark the offending card.

No maximum scores this time out but I think that was down to the wind conditions. We did however have a number of ties for 1 st place. The match results may be viewed here >>>

Many thanks to all those who attended, especially Rex Shelvoke for volunteering to act as RO for the morning.
