We were once again privileged to be able to use the range at Stourport on Severn.

This year we had 14 individual entrants entered into 48 matches, 96 match cards.
With 3 regulars unable to attend due to holidays or work commitments.As always, I would very much like to thank the Committee and Members of Stourport on Severn Rifle club for allowing us the use of their range.

This was the 15th Autumn match to take place at Stourport On Severn which has now been joined by the Spring Match, the Charity Rook & Reindeer and the Summer Long Range.

Once again, the weather Gods provided us with a lovely Autumn day, high temperature, bright sunny spells and no wind.

The usual supply of superb biscuits and tea was once more available, many thanks to Mrs Boulton.

Each detail consisted of 13 shots at both 25m & 50m with the best 10 shots being counted at each distance.
The use of the larger target at 50m and the removal of sighting targets has been a great success. Competitors are less stressed as the match is much more relaxed with a short rest period between details.

Many thanks to all those who attended and helped out during the day.
Special thanks to Rex Shilvock who volunteered his services and acted as RO for the morning, and to Phil Carter who controlled the afternoon session.

Look out for the Christmas Charity Rook & Reindeer on Saturday 2nd December 2023, with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
