You will recall that working with the previous Government we were able to overcome the Plymouth Coroner’s proposals in his report and that the focus became the core issue of police FLD training. As I have reported, with BSSC, we have been working with the College of Policing on a consistent and complete training programme nationally.

We will now be working on the new proposals with BSSC and are in touch with the Home Office. May I ask you to avoid commentary, political or otherwise, on the forum as it may not be helpful.
