I have reported in Legislative Updates about progress towards removing sound moderators from firearms licensing controls.
This initiative of BSSC which we support is moving forwards.

Members are encouraged to complete the short consultation to be found at this link prior to the closing date of 2nd April. Open the document (Accessible) and go to the survey link there.

As you will see sound moderators are a large number of the items on FACs so much time, effort and cost for all parties involved will be saved by achieving this without affecting public safety.
