It is with great sadness that we inform members of the death of De Witt Bailey on Saturday the 9th March.

Some of you will have known De Witt personally and most will be familiar with his publications.

He was a gentleman, with much humour, as well as having a vast knowledge in his field, and indeed wider.

We will miss him greatly.

He is survived by relatives in USA.
