Comments / Other information | During WW1 the UK ordered 1911 Goverment models from Colt in a different calibre of .455 Auto differing in having a semi rimmed case slightly longer, a jacketed bullet of different profile with slightly less power. This round as used in the 1913 Webly Auto pistol and exclusive to those 2 pistols both with Limited production. The design later being adapted to many other calibres used until the present day. |
