British Shooting Sports Council (BSSC) AGM on Thursday 20th March 2025

At the British Shooting Sports Council (BSSC) AGM on Thursday 20th March 2025 Mark Garnier OBE MP was elected unanimously as Chairman, having been nominated by the retiring Chairman, Jonathan Djanogly.
The BSSC President Andrew, Lord Robathan also retired from that post and was succeeded as President by Sir Graham Brady (Lord Brady of Altrincham) who was also elected unanimously.
The other officers, being the Vice President, Vice Chairmen, and Treasurer were re-elected.
The AGM was followed by a regular Council meeting after which the annual luncheon took place. Presentations were made after lunch to the retiring President, Chairman and the previous Secretary Graham Downing, who retired last December following the appointment of Jeremy Hinde as the new Secretary from 1st January 2025.
All were personally thanked by the gathering for their dedication and hard work on behalf the Council and shooting community.
Following the Council meeting the Secretary commented that his first quarter in office has been one of the busiest BSSC has experienced, addressing the many pressures that the shooting community faces at present.
